Easy steps for a green life, just follow me;)

Firstly, check my schedule, today is my 76th day in UK,after (365-76)days,I'll return back home from Heathrow airport,my objective in this year is nothing but living a different life in an limited time.but last week,I was shocked by my first and huge carbon footprint I've ever made, that is caused by international flight, may I say that's the first big "contribution" to the environment by myself in this year since I arrived here ? This round trip has 10,120 miles containing 2,256kg CO2 just in less than 12 hours, amazing!  Of course, when it is compared to carbon footprint of Al Gore, most of us will get a relief.Although it is said easier than done, but this time,I have to say everyone can lead a green life,to do something in an eco-friendly way and to reduce the carbonfootprint, cause I believe I am able to offset my carbon emission by what I've been doing. Here's my green diary;)

1.Cook more often, eat less animal products.
I cook by myself everyday, that is enjoyable,I almost become a vegetarian with a consideration of healthy and economic way.

2.Support local agriculture.
this picture was taken in Morrision.

3.Buy second-hand stuff if possible.

like schook pack, cooker, text book, printer, anything you can continue to use from other people. For more information, log on to the uea forum.

4.Recycle and reuse something if you could.
Within 2 month,I've consumed many kinds of sauces for cooking,I always collect them that can help me figure out some new recipe with new flavours, that's fine, and then put them to the glass recycling bin.

5.Walk and cycle more to find new sights surrounding you.
if you got time to walk from campus to city centre,it would be a fresh experience different from what you could find by bus, these fotos taken by me can show you.

  3. To Ramesh,
thanks,I'm trying now,but the most important thing is to persuade other people to join us.

    To Luke,
if that was true, you would not see me next week, cause I might be already on the way, haha

  4. The last picture is quite familiar, but I suspect it is not the opposite of norwich cathedral.
